Sales Representative/Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Representative is the principal point of contact between the CMC and its customers. This role is responsible for ensuring current customers have the right products and services, identifying new customer leads, and pitching to prospective customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prospect for potential clients through various lists, cold calling, and networking; enter into database.
- Estimate service, repairs and production jobs; conduct job site surveys of potential production, repair and maintenance jobs.
- Generate proposals for service in a timely manner.
- Present, promote and sell services to existing and prospective customers.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Determine and define project scope and objectives.
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
- Track project costs in order to meet budget.
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate with project team members to ensure efficient completion of project goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Intermediate to Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
- Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field; equivalent experience or training may be substituted.
- Minimum 3 years of prior experience in a sales or project management role.
- Construction industry related experience preferred.
- Bilingual – Spanish and English is a plus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT USED
Ability to operate all general office equipment including computer, printer, copier, fax, and phones. Ability to operate and drive vehicle for work related travel, meetings, and to run errands.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is an in-office position.
